Software

The project is using an action design research methodology which includes the publication of software prototypes.

We are developing software in two areas:

1) StrEmbed (latest version is available from github through the following link: StrEmbed) is a research tool that we are using to explore the association of multiple BoMs (Bills of Materials) with a given design description. (DOI: http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.5101160)

2) PartFind (latest version is available from http://54.190.171.241:8501/) is a research tool where we are exploring applications of machine learning to engineering design
